It has been 67 days since we entered 2026. The days are passing by so quickly once again; may Allah grant us good and healthy lives. The song “Happy to Be Here” by Wookiefoot, which played during my 3-month Asia tour, is in my ears again. Today is Sunday, March 8, 2026, and I am in Siirt. I have a flight to Istanbul today at 15:30, Inshallah. And right now, I opened the window because I was feeling hot, even though it snowed outside last night and the air is freezing cold.
Now that we have made an update to remember the present moment, let’s get back to the reason why I am writing this post.
Sometimes, writing a blog post makes it easier for me to express the plans in my mind.
For instance, we are in March. We have March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December ahead of us. That means we have 10 months on our hands. I wanted to narrow down my goals for these months. For example, saving up a bit of money, continuing to work out (I signed up for a 1-year gym membership but only managed to go 2 days in 2 months), traveling, and getting my other personal affairs in order. I will start with the next 3 months. We will figure out June and beyond along the way.
In March, meaning with February’s salary, perhaps some savings were set aside. I want to start going to the gym after Ramadan ends, but I need to fix my diet during this period as well. My eating routine got off track with Ramadan. Also, I need to take more action regarding myRota and 60eksi this month.
Similarly, while taking these actions in April and May, perhaps a travel plan can be made on the side. I need to think about this and make a decision within this month. Otherwise, it might cause financial strain. The earlier it is, the more planned and organized it will be. Furthermore, while making these plans, I have to keep in mind creating content for myRota. But I’m not sure how 60eksi will work out while on the road. I suppose this is how I can outline my plans in the roughest way without giving too many details. May Allah be with us and help us all. May He grant us good and healthy days. Stay well. I entrust you to Allah.
