Despite the name, SexyBookmarks (later renamed Shareaholic) is not an adult content tool. It drops social-share icons beneath your posts (or beside titles on the homepage). The only job: make it easier for readers to share your work.
2026 Replacement
- Share Buttons by AddToAny: lightweight, ad-free, privacy-friendly.
- Social Snap: polished, with a generous free tier.
- Native: most modern block themes (Twenty Twenty-Four, Astra) already include share blocks.
Tip: Don’t overload the page with share buttons — 3 to 5 platforms targeted to your audience is the sweet spot for both UX and performance.
