Happy Eid al-Adha to everyone. We’ve made it to one more Eid morning, thank God. Many more Eids to come. No need to drag the message out — just tell the people you love that you love them, share whatever you have with people, no act of help is too small. Don’t forget to give kids some pocket money or candy today. I remember being handed 5 TL or so and running off to buy chips. The pocket money you get during Eid hits different. Greet people; if there’s someone you’re not on speaking terms with, at least send them a message wishing them Eid. Life is short — no point holding grudges, right? Just be happy.
