This summer I switched from Gom Player to KMPlayer, but I kept regretting it. Why? Because of those ads that pop up on the right-hand side of KMPlayer. It’s really irritating. You have to close them every time you open a video. So I started looking for a solution and found a solid one. With this trick, you get rid of the right-side ads completely.
In short: we block KMPlayer from reaching its ad servers, and the ads never show up. This works for all versions.
- Open the
hostsfile located inC:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etcwith Notepad. - Add the line
127.0.0.1 player.kmpmedia.netat the bottom. - Click Save.
- KMPlayer is now ad-free, at your service.
