This text has been prepared by the data controller BURAK BAYRAM (“myRota”) in order to inform users (“User”) of the “myRota” application (“Application”) regarding the processing of personal data in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You must read and accept this text before using the Application.
1. Data Controller
Under KVKK and GDPR, the data controller is:

- Login method (Google / Apple)

- Created and purchased routes
- Favorites
- Check-in data
- Comments
- In-app activities
Collection Data:
- Visited countries
- Currencies
- Mugs
- Magnets
- Books
- Stamps
- Postcards
- Playing cards
- Uploaded images
Payment Information:
- Payment data is not stored by myRota
- All payments are processed by Apple App Store
3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Collected data is processed for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing user accounts
- Providing application services (route creation, collection tracking, etc.)
- Personalizing user experience
- Managing purchases and subscriptions
- Resolving technical issues and ensuring security
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Personal data is processed based on the following legal grounds under KVKK and GDPR:
- Explicit consent of the user
- Performance of a contract
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Legitimate interests (application security and improvement)
5. Data Retention Period
Personal data:
- Is stored as long as the account remains active
- Is deleted or anonymized after account deletion, except where legal obligations require retention
Note: Routes created via RotaAI are not stored on servers and exist only on the user’s device.
6. Data Sharing
Personal data:
- Is not sold or shared for commercial purposes
- May only be shared in the following cases:
- Legal obligations (court orders, etc.)
- Service providers (e.g., Apple, Google login services)
7. International Data Transfers (GDPR)
Due to the use of third-party services (such as Google, Apple), personal data may be transferred abroad.
By accepting this text, the User acknowledges and consents to the transfer of their data to the European Union and other countries.
8. User Rights
Under KVKK and GDPR, users have the right to:
- Access their personal data
- Request correction
- Request deletion
- Restrict processing
- Request data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time

myRota:
- Takes technical and administrative measures to protect data
- However, cannot guarantee 100% security of any system
