What we call a notebook is actually something very important. “Why important when there are tons of apps on the phone?” you might say. But a notebook — like reading a book printed on coated paper instead of in a virtual environment, or, I’m not sure what example to give. The place of a notebook will always be separate. Pulling out a pen and writing a list — that taste. Or instead of “my charge ran out, I can’t see what I wrote,” the notebook is right there. For instance I make a to-do list and one by one cross off all the tasks during the day — that taste doesn’t exist in the mobile environment.
And then, my notebook is always near me. The phone may be ahead of the classical method in some ways, but for example my phone the other day reset itself randomly somehow and I was left stranded. I think the probability of something happening to a notebook is lower. And of course, I think a notebook is a style. Keeping lists in a virtual environment doesn’t quite please me. The year may be 2016, but I still can’t trust the digital — in fact, as technology advances, my trust decreases more and more. And that’s why I keep a notebook.
I recommend you also start keeping notes for yourself in some way. Your life will fall into a certain order. I can have a fast-forgetting type sometimes. Or for long-term things I want to do, again with notebooks I make them stick in my memory. Let me tell you something. If I write in a notebook that I’ll do something, every time I see it in the notebook that task causes me trouble. I’d said in a certain period I would do it but haven’t. These situations really annoy me so I try to handle the work as soon as possible — this way I also prevent my laziness situation. If something is only in my head, after a while I forget — and because of forgetting I make the task so loose that completing it can take years.
For this reason, keep notes, have others keep notes, don’t stay without lists. For an example list, let me take you to my special list page🙂
