Use It!

A million things to do keep popping into my head. “I’ll do this, I’ll do that” — and I notice I haven’t actually done a single one. Why am I doing this? Laziness? Boredom? Loss of enthusiasm? None of them, I think. It’s that I start every single thing that pops into my head.

Starting another task before finishing the previous one isn’t a great habit, in my opinion. I think I’d get more out of it if I finished what I started. But I want to do everything that crosses my mind too. The result: sometimes happiness, sometimes disappointment. But I’ll keep working at it. I’ll find a solution for this too, God willing.

One day, hopefully soon, may God grant me a good job — a job I love, one that I enjoy doing, one that even helps me walk the path of faith. Thank God my current state is good compared to many people — earning a living, clothes, shelter, food. In short, the thing to do is clear: use the mind and the intellect God blessed us with. “Just Use It” — “Your Mind” — that’s all there is to it. Stay well. Peace be with you!
